General: That those who are without work or homes or who are otherwise in serious need may find understanding and welcome, as well as concrete help in overcoming their difficulties.
Missionary: That the Church may be a “home” for all people, ready to open its doors to any who are suffering from racial or religious discrimination, hunger, or wars forcing them to emigrate to other countries.

+ That we may acknowledge the difference between a lonely, threatened and hopeless mother that has aborted her baby without knowing very well what she has done, from THOSE WHO PROFIT WITH THESE SITUATIONS AND THOSE THAT PROMOTE IT WITH A RACIST MOTIVATION.

+ The World Congress of Families are asking us to support the pro-life leaders of Kenya who are opposing an abortion plan at a constitutional level which votation will take place on August the 4 th .

+ As of today, there are more than 400,000 little human embryos created by in-vitro fertilization whose lives are suspended in liquid nitrogen. John Paul II pleaded to the fertilization technicians to stop creating them. Let us pray for them and for their HUMAN RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+ PERU: Through the Grace of God and with great joy we announce to you that in the month of September we will have an International Encounter for Truth and Life, organized by Human Life International, The Latin-American Net of Priests and Seminarians for Life and CEPROFARENA. + From FAMPAZ as always asks for prayers for the Life of the unborn babies, and for their mothers that are being dragged and influenced this days by waves of thought that are contrary to the Argentine spirit through propaganda in the media that promote abortion.

+ From the March of the Booties for Life and Truth whose members are spreading the truth using the right name for each thing: abortion – aberrant homicide because it has the consent of the own mother.
+ For all the people that are been persecuted in Argentina for defending Life and Family, formed from the beginning by a man and a woman. In Argentina, these people are receiving threatening calls, and are suffering psychological and physical attacks like the ones the people were able to see in these days without the media acknowledging them. + Mexico: thousands of peoples marched through the streets of Aguascalientes to ask Congress to defend human life from conception to natural death. The organization “Si a la Vida” called to have Aguascalientes to be part of the entity number 18 so that their constitution may defend the life of the unborn children.
Ricardo Serrano, coordinator of the organization, said that this manifestation summoned Mexican people of all faiths, political backgrounds and social status; because life is a right inherent to all people.

+ For peace in each and every heart, in each family, in each country, and in the whole world. That we may be witnesses to see the end of abortion. For all who work for life, for the conversion of all sinners, for all those who suffer, for the souls in purgatory, and for the healing of Marielena.

+ DEBATE FOR THE CHRISTMASS CAMPAIGN IN GREAT BRITAIN:

“He is on his way” . This is the theme for the Christmas campaign that many British Christian denominations have launched already with an image that resembles a sonogram of Virgin Mary's womb, that shows the unborn Baby Jesus with a halo. The poster has the phrase “Christmas begins with Christ” enforcing in English both words that have the same source. This is an appeal to the Christian feeling of Christmas. The message has a clear anti-abortion component that has been criticized by pro-abortion organizations.
The image, composed by making a collage of numerous scanners of fetuses, is to be a powerful message for everybody in the United Kingdom, where 570 babies are killed everyday in their mother's wombs, 365 days a year. “Every time that we kill an unborn child, we are killing the Infant Jesus”, said John Smeaton, director of the Society for the Protection of the Unborn.

PARISH SCHOOL VIRGEN DEL CARMEN : S.O.S.

Dear friends, we write to you to tell you that the Parish School “Virgen del Carmen” which is located in the low income neighborhood of Olivos in the Province of Buenos Aires, is in desperate need of your help in order to be able to continue with our mission.

In the elementary school, about 350 children assist to morning and afternoon classes which are given from 8am to 4pm. Breakfast and lunch are given for free at the school to the students because many of them will not have dinner at home. Given the difficult economic situation, it is getting harder to be able to offer this service to the children, which are in great need for it. Hail destroyed the High School roof for about three weeks and they thank people of good heart like you, who were able to repair part of it, but there is still more to be fixed.
